		<description><![CDATA[The crying commentator reminds me of a pre-olympic moment here, back in Spring &#039;08, where the torch (or several of them I guess) was brought up to the summit of Mt. Everest.   It was broadcast live, and one of the older gentlemen on the panel began weeping with a lowered head. The camera centered and zoomed in on him. 

I would find it comical if they uncovered a secret script that had been prepared in case the climbers (mostly Tibetan?) perished.  They succeeded, of course, and it was actually a pretty cool TV moment, which could have only been better if there was no sobbing.
