I heard the story before I saw the match, and at that point I agreed with you. Kicking them out seemed unfair if they thought from past experience this was acceptable. It was seeing, later in the day, the arrogance of ignoring the judge’s warning that changed my mind. They were told what would happen, and to think a judge’s warning wouldn’t touch them was a disrespect for the rules that I don’t think any sport can tolerate. Yes, the set up was bad, but that didn’t excuse the behaviour. Fortunately, I don’t think we’ll see the same scenario in future olympics.
