But as amusing as I find it when the Chinese government tries to pull this kind of crap, I’m worried about the fact that they knew about this at all. I seriously doubt that they read the Gazette Times, where news of the mural first appeared a month or so ago. That means either that 1) someone in the government was passing through, noted the mural, and reported it or, 2)more worryingly, somebody reported it to them, probably some little fenqing shit at OSU. I don’t like the idea of Chinese snitches reporting every little thing they don’t like to the Chinese embassy. I guess I’m just glad that my wife, despite being about to finish at OSU, has almost nothing to do with any Chinese people there.
