When I see people walking backwards while clapping their hands or a bunch of old ditties line dancing poorly or forming random conga lines in parking lots, I think that a lot of people here should be committed.

Well….When a young woman from our neighbourhood tried to kidnap our 2 y.o. (twice!)…. our neighbours and Chinese colleagues all told me the same: she’s deranged, there’s nothing to do: “Cops won’t bother, she’s not a criminal, she’s just mentally ill.”
….
So who knows, things may change now?
And about the snitching, we have the cops paying us a visit every month…simply because our neighbours still can’t get used to the idea of having foreigners with a baby living in their building. Why don’t we live in a posh area? We’ve probably got something to hide.
