Chris, we know your Christmas party was much more fun for the chaps. After all, it as held at the Capital Club and everyone quaffed down container loads of Chateaux de Chaterlie while listening to music specially commissioned from a virgin classical composer and played by musicians in mini skirts.

But that’s not a reason to make everyone else feel bad that they can’t live a Baron’s lifestyle, have some sympathy for the commoners man!

It’s not his opinions I disagree with – they’re completely inconsequential, and therefore harmless.

I’m just worried that BJC, which we all thought was going rather well, is publishing such appalling writing. Any professional editor (like day-job Tao, but apparently not blogger Tao) would reject this before reaching the third paragraph. A few examples…

Tautologies: “racial miscegenation”
Malapropisms: “Roberts…literally blitzed the field”; “multimedia median”
Plain cringe-inducing writing: “If I could devote a similar time and effort to my card cheating skills, 2013 would be the Year of the Bank Account.”

I accept that blog editors generally take less editorial control, but it’s a real shame that this tripe ends up in so many Google Readers.

You’ve got a bit of a fucking cheek casting comment about other peoples blogs when Beijing Cream is about the biggest shit stirrer out there. Your own Christmas Party was shite, about 30 people showed up and you ran out of beer after 20 minutes then personally Anthony, you then fucked off.
No-one likes you, and you’ve ended the year in serious danger of getting your head kicked in should you show up in certain expat bars in Beijing. Some success story you are.
