Once an idiot security check guy actually grabbed me as I ignored him and attempted to pass through, rather than decking him, my first choice reaction, I pushed him aside and told him to “fuck off” like any civilized Canadian would.

Jeff I see where you’re coming from, but this kind of thing is ripe for lampooning. How can it be “security” if they are allowed to walk right through it? As foreigners we should certainly respect locals… that doesn’t mean we should stick our head in the sand along with them.
