Do you know what parentheses look like?

It takes a seriously insecure person to feel the need to reply to internet trolls. If “pleh.” thinks you are dull (which you are) ignore him/her and move on. Replying makes you look childish and petty. Did you like my sweet use of parentheses there, buddy?

I teach kids that have failed the Gao Kao. The most unmotivated, lazy little fucks in all of China. You have to be careful of really ‘trying’ with these kind of kids because they are good at spotting this and making you jump through hoops while doing fuck all themselves.

The problem with these kind of kids is that 20 years ago they’d be in the fields or in the factory – now, because they have a reasonably well-off dad they get a second chance to fuck things up.

I tend to be a nice enough person with all of them but turn into a drill sergeant on crack if they try to fuck me around.

It works.

I recall where I once taught the word “eyelashes” which got my kids in fits of laughter because all they heard was 爱拉稀 (love diarrhea). There were countless over moments like that which are always good for rapport and running jokes in the class. Mental.
