I think North Korea has learnt that the only way it can make money is through tourism, that’s why they recently extended the tourist season. However, lets face it, they are never going to make much money. North Korea is an expensive niche destination for delusional communists, still mentally living in the 1950s. Most normal people want to see a little more than Kim statues and skying.
