Theres not a snow flakes chance in hell the Princelings are going to send their offshore ill-gotten gains onshore, particularly given the volatility of the political climate now. If Bo Xi Lai and Zhou YongKang can suffer the indignities (despite the princeling and protege status of Zhou by Chairman Zhiang) as the political fortunes turn, theres nothing to stop Xi and Li to go after the naive idiots who repatriate the BVI funds to go onshore. The eventual owners of the repatriated monies are not the state - but the now top of the heap masters, wealth redistribution of the connected so to speak.

Interesting piece by Tom Holland (SCMP) about how BVI and other havens are being utilized mostly as a turnaround point so money goes BACK into China (disguised as FDI) and exempt from many taxes and other charges the CCP is losing out on. By their own Princelings. Go figure.
