I one time had a similar driver with yellowed, Hepatitis eyes give me some crazy look and ask me whether I “Liked girls.” Uncertain of which meaning of 小姐 he was referring to, I asked “What kind of ‘girls’?”

Dude got a crazy fucking smile, switched the meter off, locked the doors and took a 10-minute detour to introduce me to his favorite street for finding hookers and offer his personal recommendations.

Since then I stopped talking with cabbies and always play dumb.
