Or he might just be under some kind of pressure to “not make a fuss about it” and is trying to appease things with the authorities, as to avoid having too many recurring such visits. I don’t blame him, he’s protecting his patrons by resisting the urge to “make a point”.

Dada’s a good place and Michael’s cool. The event did indeed go on as normal, though the cops were definitely there longer than 20 min. Will be curious to see if more of these surprise inspections / untimely interruptions happen in the near future.

I also wouldn’t call it a “raid” or a “bust” — we’re fully legal, and the police said there was nothing wrong with what we were doing and the event continued as usual after a 20 minute delay.
