I actually had the opposite happen to me. I was so confused. The Taxi avoided a pack of locals and picked me up about 10-15 ft further down the road.

When I asked the driver why she(!!) did that.. her response was mind-blowing: “I don’t like smokers, they stink up my car.”

My god. A new day in China. Finally, discrimination against repulsive smokers who hork spit and stink.

As for the laowai who picked on a Chinese guy, get a life you dicks. You should spend 90% of your time in China trying to get laid and 10% of your time sleeping and recovering from a hangover. Enjoy the 蛋炒饭.
