This summer,a man with great respect and amazing voice has hit Chines music industry. Perhat, praised as a gracious and fierce rock star,is the most famous Uyghur singer now. Standing out from the rest of The Voice Of China,Perhat gain great popularity with his low raucous and often dolorous voice which is really charming and unusual in Chinese music. His unique way of singing and his attitude of singing just for himself rather than the judges or the approval of the audience towards music are believed to have brought sincerity and honesty to our utilitarian society.
However, he's loved and esteemed by people not only for his amazing voice, but also for his ability to transcend the usual social norms. Once in the competition, Perhat refused to be declared as the winner for his respect to his rival. this level of respect across the ethnic divide and the typically Uyghur masculinity all made him an artist more than a singer.

I think Perhat has re-triggered many people's interest in The Voice of China. Many Chinese people, including me, were tired of the fixed competing procedure and familiar style of contestants. Truly, some of the contestants have very impressive singing skills and some of them are really gorgeous. But all of them failed to move people. Perhat, “like a lion from the Pamir Mountains in the Western Regions”, broke into people’s heart. When he finished the Uyghur song, which was written by himself to memorize his passed-away parents, I fully understand the meaning of “there is no boundaries of language in music” for the first time.
