Excellent work, Anthony! I appreciate the insight your asterisks bring.

I’m not pro- or anti-Kitto. As someone who has worked and lived in China for almost three decades, it’s evident that each of us has his or her own unique experience.

It would be nice to read intelligent comments about Kitto’s views. It’s a pity when the commentary becomes so petty, if not just downright nasty.

On Facebook he’s in Malta so you can check the IP. I think this is another wind up though by BC or one of its wind up merchant readers I don’t think even Chris would be this much of an twat. Love or loathe the man he did make a success in China. Not everyone inc. fellow Brits like Kitto appreciates that. So CDE as (successful) wanker comes across on the blogs I think fueled mainly by jealousy and it’s become a fashionable thing to do.

I’m always suspicious about these things here.
1) this only seems to happen on Beijing Cream
2) it seems regular every few months
3) I read other China blogs it not is happening there
4) I read the China Briefing I think Chris too busy doing other things bother about this crap.
5) so there is the potential some naughty people or even you (there is obvious grudge against him) do this for your own motivation, spite or maybe generate controversy and more hits.
Just my opinion but this whole thing on Beijing Cream about Devonshire-Ellis is just very strange and repetitive and doesn’t feel right or true. I personally think someone or you does this for your own “fun”.
