There’s nothing wrong with following porn stars on Twitter, as China Daily has taught us. To wit, Stephon Marbury of Starbury fame –point guard of the Beijing Ducks, the CBA’s current champions – follows these lovely ladies, as revealed by Buzzfeed:

Well, no surprise here. Who doesn’t follow this starlet-turned-actress? And if you didn’t know before, she has her own tag on this very site. Star level: Awesome.

I’m unfamiliar with Alexis’s work, and a Google search of “Alexis” doesn’t turn up this gal until the eighth hit. Go figure. She says she is “alexis texas aka buttwoman” though. Hm. I do wonder about that. Star level: Blonde.

Not sure what Starbury has in mind with Welsh girls, but this one has massive breasts. Just massive, in a “I really hope these don’t pop and flood my basement” kind of way. Star level: Plastic.

This is the LinkedIn page (we think) of Wulan Pramita Sari, who identifies himself (we think it’s a him) as the “Sales & Marketing Manager at PT. China Zhejiang Intl Trade Center-Indonesia.”

The profile picture is Sasha Grey, a talented porn star who has graduated to mainstream roles (though I haven’t heard much from her since her stint on Entourage). Wulan has 500-plus connections, so one wonders: surely one of them must have called him out at some point for using the picture of a porn star giving a blowjob hand gesture on his professional frontpage, right?

Pornhub (No. 83 on Alexa) and Livejasmin (No. 72). Even those with VPNs may be happy about this: no more opening and pausing six videos to wait for them to buffer while you distract yourself with other things on the Internet, only to accidentally blow your load to a Snorg Tees model.

Are you surprised Pornhub and Livejasmin are accessible in China? Then you’ll be even more surprised to know that dating back to last year, both sites have been blocked for a combined one day. March 26, 2011, Pornhub fell on the wrong side of the Great Firewall. I can only imagine — quite seriously — some Party cadre placing a call to the Net Nanny office and saying, “Uh, dude. You’re new here, aren’t you?”

For the same reason that China’s censors aren’t overly aggressive about blocking virtual private network services, I can imagine why they’re not taking down the Nos. 72 and 83 most popular sites in the world despite the overtly “yellow content”: a desperate man is one deprived of everything; leave him his porn.

Postscript: If the Great Firewall does block these sites, please don’t blame me. I’ll apologize anyway to you PornHub and Livejasmin users out there in China, though if you’re the type who isn’t capable of finding porn, I give you my pity as well.
