On July 23, Han Lei grabbed a 34-month-old baby out of her stroller in Beijing and threw her to the ground, killing her. This fact is not in dispute, as there is apparently surveillance footage of this sequence. Several places have reported on this, but Global Voices wins top-link for its headline: "Opinion Leader Charles Xue Forced to Prostitute Himself on Chinese State TV."

A shortie but goodie from Global Times: "Actor Jackie Chan announced he will donate at least four old buildings to the 'Jackie Chan World Park,' to be located in Yizhuang district, the Beijing Times reported."
We're not sure why there's a naked foreigner -- a student, says People's Daily -- in the middle of a road in Haikou, Hainan province, but here he is, all sunglasses and sandals (Crocs?), minding his business.
