Residents in Wenling, Zhejiang province have been going cuckoo over a certain puddle of water recently, ever since a resident had his skin disease miraculously "cured" after bathing from that puddle. Some people now think the water is "holy," capable of curing hundreds of diseases, because why not?
The Office should have stopped being funny a couple seasons ago. All shows have shelf lives, yet somehow, even after the original writers have departed and Steve Carrell has moved on, The Office remains one of the funnier shows on TV (so I'm told). On Sunday in Ningguo, Anhui province, a thief slit the throat of a female high school student in broad daylight, killing her, and then stabbed another woman. The city immediately set up a task force of more than 100 people to investigate. Three hours after the crimes, they identified their suspect, and yesterday arrested him in Hangzhou in neighboring Zhejiang province.
