Snuggling kitties might be cuter, but you can find those videos elsewhere. Here, a pair of tots dance blithely in front of a barbershop, totally absorbed in their Mandopop. They elicited a lot of smiles that evening. Read more »
Three days ago we introduced the 1st annual Beijing Cream Bar and Club Awards (image credit Katie), with 22 questions divided into five categories. We’ve had contributions from Piper Fisco, E, Kevin Reitz and Scott Grow. To examine the fourth of our five categories, Meta, we’ve invited somewhat of a bar expert. It’s all too fitting. By... RFH first noticed this. Around the nine-second mark in the video, the girl appears to grab something out of the man’s pocket, then (possibly) drops it. Best guess is a wallet. UPDATE, 7:08 pm: As pointed out by a commenter, it could well be a cell phone that she had in her hand from the... Read more »Read more »

UPDATE, 9:37 am: My headline originally misidentified the gender of the person holding the “kids” sign (upon closer inspection, as pointed out in the comments section, the person holding the sign does not look to be a dude after all). Everything makes a lot more sense now, though at the cost of being funny. Allen... Read more »Read more »
Two days ago we introduced the 1st annual Beijing Cream Bar and Club Awards (image credit Katie), with 22 questions divided into five categories. Yesterday, Piper Fisco and E examined the first two of those categories, Dross and Repugnance, and earlier today, Kevin Reitz wrote about the Alcoholism category. Kevin purported to not be an alcoholic though; this evening’s columnist... Read more »Read more »
