Or as People’s Daily Online so elegantly puts it: “A section of the side way of the East Fourth Ring Road in Beijing collapses on Dec. 16, 2013, causing a 10-meter crater from where white steam rises. At present the traffic is cut off and the road is under urgent repairs.”
