crickets…
the real joke is that they’re all English teachers… they just do the ‘interesting/cool’ thing in their spare time. You honestly think a “Life Coach” can get a 签证 in China? That’s rich.
How come being English teacher in China is such a low status job ?
I don’t hold (Western) teachers in high regard, but I would say that working in China is a step up compared to working in a public school.
because job ads for these have ‘white’ as requirement. Bout sums it up
Nailed it.
Anyone I know who is a trained English teacher, always qualifies it:
“I’m an English teacher…. English literature”
“Oh, I teach English language”
And anyone who’s a non-English teacher equally qualifies it: “I’m a teacher”
“en”
“But I teach maths”
“Oh!”
