The traffic cop in the linked video warns drivers that 150 meters should be maintained between your car and the one ahead of you. How he kept a straight face, we have no idea. Traffic laws are expected to be obeyed in this country? Huh.

Every, every, every time I ride with a Chinese friend on this toll road they ALL drive the speed limit or faster, no matter what the weather conditions are. I tell them to slow down. These people just either don’t give a flying flip or are too ignorant to know what’s best for them. If one person passes then they feel they must act just like them and speed up. The only time I rode in a car on a toll road in China that operated at a reasonable speed was when I told her to pull over and let me drive. I could care less who passes me.
