now i get it. these awfully drawn and unfunny “laowai comics” are part of a devious plot by Mr Tao to collect negative comments for a corpus-based analysis of hate discourse in internet forums. we are his guinea pigs, his German Shepperd, and laowai comics is the bait. Mr Tao, you are indeed a true creative and i salute you.

Me too, well over a hundred different trains, and delays are rare and usually short. But there are more of them during CNY, definitely (mostly because it’s the only time of the year with shit weather in the south, sometimes the electric grid just gives out)

Really? I agree with the fast trains, but ive taken a few slow trains, maybe 10, and 3-4 of them have been a half an hour or so late

How do you help Laowai Comic Guy’s family and friends out when they’re missing him? That’s right, ain’t gonna happen.

Missing China? Just get your white buddies to make their eyes slitty with sellotape, stop brushing their teeth and shout “haroooow!” every time they see each other.

Boom you’ll feel like you’re back home, amiright?

Why don’t you all just leave this guy alone? At least he’s trying. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I applaud this young man for presenting so boldly his work each week, tweaking the noses of his critics, ignoring the disdain. He is an example and a hero to people everywhere who are shit at their chosen profession, but keep on keeping on.

i really don’t think this is a profession for him, it must be a hobby. he does it for the prestige, for the accolades and for the fame. this is l’art pour l’art, my friend.

Ah no one minds the trolls’ comments, it’s so teeny that it’s comical. You don’t like it? Build a bridge and get over it. I wonder does the author like the trolling at this stage! ?

Actually, can the non- fans explain why they have such vitriol for this work. I don’t go onto sites/pages that bore me. But the hatred that is poured forth…wow. What reasons? Bullet point answers please. And, no, “it’s jyst not funny” is not sufficient to explain such rage!
