Fireworks Over Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbor Proves Spectacular Once Again

Ho, hum. Another Chinese New Year, another ridiculous, wonderful fireworks display over Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbor.

This happened last night, two nights after Beijing’s skies were lit afire. No place in the world does New Year’s Eve (the real one, which is lunar, of course) quite like China.

UPDATE, 1:45 pm: Some stats, via SCMP: “4.5 tonnes of explosives fired off… about 340,000 people watched the fireworks at the peak of the display, police said, most of them on the Kowloon side.”
